| Swiss Model: (1) Markers last 5-8 Hours after charging. (2) Notice the Datewheel, the
background is yellow, or some models, other then submariners, feature a white
background. The "6" you will notice does NOT close. This flare is the detail that the
Japanese models do not feature. Although some higher end Japanese models will actually
carry this feature. Many details will spot out a true Swiss. (3) The jewel marker at
the 12 marker is also correctly mounted in it's setting. |
|
Japanese Model: (1)
What good is a fake when the spelling is incorrect or blurred? Dials
on Japanese models tend to feature printed dial versus the laser
etched dials carried on the Swiss models. (2) Don't try to wear the
watches at night unless you carry a flashlight. (3) Mineral Crystal
provides almost no protection to the watch. We took a key and
rub it across the lense and you can see the scratches. Swiss feature
Sapphire Crystals, you would even have a hard time marking them with a
chisel. |

| Crystal: (1)
Notice the clean beveled edge shaping of the crystal of the Swiss
model. (2) Japanese models have a straight edge that is not true to
life of real Rolex watches. |
|
Lugs:
Carry you tell the Swiss model is on the left? (1) Swiss models
feature true solid end links. Notice the the correct placement of the
band. (2) Japanese models showcase the incorrect bands. |

 |
| Gold:
Notice the gold on the bottom? Indian gold paint is used on ALL Japanese
models. The top model features true 18K Gold. In time the investment
of a Swiss model will pay off. |
|
Threaded Bands: Japanese
models, as shown below have a less detailed band and at times a hollow
band. The top model, (1)a Swiss model even features a grooved
band for the wetsuit extension. With the true 18K Gold band and solid
band, the Swiss models are the right choice! |
